Miracles do happen...occassioinally. I am here updating the web page, that'd be the most recent miracle. Second, we were able to pull off getting together 4 different groups from 3 of the 4 different quandrents of the Earth all together to have a Berg style Christmas. Did everyone show up at the same time; not a chance. Did everyone leave at the same time; HA, yeah right. But did we all get together and have a good time; impossilbe not to! Here we all were at the 4 Rivers Fountain in Piazza di Nuova on a beautiful Chirstmas Eve night walk through Rome on our way up to the Vatican. The crowds were surprisingly light at the Vatican, but that made for some really nice photo ops.

The first week of April saw Tim and Patti fly in to Rome all the way from Seattle. 9 time zones...that's a big pile of jet lag. The 10 days were filled to the brim with tours of Rome, the Vatican, Amalfi Coast, Orvietto and Pompeii..as photographically proven in the shot to the right here. The total mileage spent on our feet has yet to be tallied in whole, but the Youngbluths may need to visit their local Pay-Less upon return home. We did introduce them to the wonders of gelato. I think Tim found a fifth food group...
